Greetings again to all. Today, I wish to update you on the status of the Frank Hamner Scholarship. Earlier this year, I informed our school and community about our efforts to raise $10,000 to match a $10,000 donation from Mr. Frank Hamner, a 1982 graduate of Hubbertville School.
I’m proud to announce that we accomplished our goal! In fact, with your help and support, we raised over $10,000. Proceeds from this money will be awarded annually through scholarships to deserving recipients seeking a higher education.
Once again, thanks to those graduates, community members, and patrons of the school who supported this endeavor. It’s greatly reassuring to know our “family roots” run so deep at Hubbertville.
Sincerely,
Tim Dunavant
Hubbertville School Principal

HISTORY IS ALL AROUND YOU
HUBBERTVILLE SCHOOL, COMMUNITY PLAN SPECIAL CELEBRATION FOR 75TH ANNIVERSITY
History, for most of us, is not something that directly affects our daily lives. If it does, we're not aware of it. Most of us tend to think of history as just another class we took in school. But atHubbertville School, it's different. History is literally all around you. It's in the oak floorboards and on the walls of the school building, and more importantly, it's in the hearts and minds of a dedicated community that works hard to establish the school in 1923 and to rebuild it after fires in 1934 and 1939. A brown-frame building was the first incarnation of Hubbertville School.
